Printed Japanese papers have many uses. The elegant
and subtle designs are printed with white ink on white kozo
fiber paper. They are naturally acid free and feature far eastern
style patterns such as cranes and calligraphy. Uses for this translucent paper include paper shades, book arts and collage.
American papermaker Richard Langdell has outdone himself
with a new series of printed paper. This new line features his signature
handmade paper complemented with organic patterns silk-screened on one
side.
Canadian papermakers St. Armand create some of the
most beautiful and unique handmade sheets of paper you will ever find.
Their newest ones include cloves and steak spices. There is also a package
of 8¼ sized sheets. Calligraphers will surely
