Boku Journals feature
Kenaf Paper

During previous Back to School Sales, Wet Paint has offered all its pads and journals on sale at a great
discount. We admit that in past years we may have underplayed
what a terrific bargain this is. To make up for this oversight,
this issue is dedicated to all the sketchbooks and drawing
pads, pastel pads and watercolor blocks, journals and notebooks we stock here at the store. We’ve pictured just a few of these diverse products at the bottom of this page.
Treeless Paper?
So this would be a good time to introduce you to the newest journal
at Wet Paint -- Boku Books, featuring 30% kenaf,
blended with recycled pulp. Kenaf is a 4,000 year old crop with
roots in ancient Africa. It offers a way to make beautiful paper
without cutting down forests. This plant, which grows well in
many parts of the United States, yields dry fiber three to five
times greater than Southern pine (which can take seven to 40 years
to reach harvestable size). Kenaf fibers are energy efficient
to process, while using few chemicals and no chlorine compounds
to produce.
You can be on the cutting edge of an environmentally-sensitive
alternative to tree-borne paper products. These excellently designed
Boku pads offer lovely, archival sheets and are available in blank,
gridded and ruled formats. Give them
a look.

No matter what your medium or interest we have
the pad or journal for you.

otherwise noted, all sale prices on this page
