Great news! This year, Wet Paint has expanded its annual “Make Your Mark” Sale to include bottled inks & cartridges!

Of late there has been a rise in interest in the “blackest black” inks. In addition to the great “workhorse” black inks from Higgins, Speedball & Koh-I-Noor, we also stock manga inks from Deleter & Maxon. The classic Pelikan Tusche A black has met with approval by Wet Paint staff for its serious blackness. We even stock a mysterious black ink called Witche’s Brew.

If it’s color your looking for in an ink, we offer several options for the dip pen user, suitable for drawing or calligraphy. We offer Daler-Rowney’s complete range of acrylic FW Inks, including the pearlescents, and their Calli ink, a calligrapher’s ink of choice.
We've also just added Pelikan's Scribtol Calligraphy Drawing Ink, which flows evenly and produces sharp, opaque lines for writing or drawing.
Kansas City is the point of origin for two amazing “dipping” inks: the renowned Ziller Ink & McCaffery’s (great for the thinnest of lines), both available in a variety of unique colors. Another traditional ink for the dip pen is Sennelier’s shellac-based ink, available in 30 colors, plus a neutral tone.
Colorful inks include extensive ranges of Dr. Ph. Martin Bombay Inks, Winsor & Newton Drawing Ink, and Herbin China Ink, Pearlescent & Calligraphy ink.

For the fountain pen user, in addition to stalwart brands such as Sheaffer, Pelikan, Waterman, Parker & Lamy, you’ll find the popular Herbin “Pearl of Inks”, available both in bottles & cartridges. Use a fascinating color for your correspondence! The Herbin inks are much sought after, especially one of the new colors, Vert Empire, a green that has provoked much comment on the web & sold out the moment that it arrived.

We're very excited to announce the addition of Noodler's fountain pen inks. Customers have been requesting this topselling ink for some time. We've selected a beautiful group of colors from their extensive collection.
We've made a handsome selection of 14 of their regular colors (check out the beautiful Apache Sunset and Zhivago inks), two of their "Bulletproof" inks, Black and Lexington Grey, and two smooth flowing "Eel" inks, Polar Black and Polar Brown.
And we're equally excited to bring in the eagerly sought after Platinum Carbon Black. What makes this ink so special? Carbon ink uses pigment rather than dye in order to improve the water resistance, heat resistance, and stability. Carbon black ink is suitable for important documents that need to last a long time.
Wet Paint carries inks & cartridges you won’t easily find anywhere else. We’ve long championed Tom Norton’s beautiful Walnut Ink, and Paper & Ink’s Walnut Ink Crystals. Looking for the refill for that Pentel Pocket brush pen you purchased? Look here.
A comprehensive article on our black inks alone could fill a newsletter! So whether you’re a calligrapher or a cartoonist, a fine artist, a casual sketcher or a fountain pen afficianado, you’ll find the ink you need at Wet Paint.
