Summer travel is the perfect opportunity for watercolor
painting. For those in a hurry, we offer several travel
boxes with a selection of pan colors and a brush. Some sets
also include a water flask. Artists
with a favorite color palette can choose their own ½
pans from Schmincke.
Schmincke makes their pan by filling them a small amount at a time
and letting them dry. This process is repeated four times over a several
week period, ensuring a crack resistant, thoroughly mixed, color. Most
other brands are extruded, cut and then glued into the pan. Schmincke ½ pans are available in 110 colors. To hold your ½ pans, Wet Paint has numerous enamel boxes that can hold up to 36 colors.
Make your travel art supplies complete by adding a travel brush from Isabey or Holbein.
