In the late 1920s, Caran d'Ache introduced one of the first mechanical pencils, the Fixpencil. It's still going strong, as one of the most respected clutch pencils on the market. Like the company itself, the Fixpencil has evolved. Below are four you can purchase here online at Wet Paint.

FIXPENCIL 0.7MM: Mechanical pencils with a light metal body, equipped with an eraser and a spare supply of leads with a diameter of 0.7 mm.

FIXPENCIL 22 2MM : The great clutch pencil that has been a standard for Caran d'Ache. Mechanical pencil with a lead of 2mm and a sharpener incorporated in the pushbutton.

FIXPENCIL 77 2MM (LONG): A longer version of the Fixpencil 22 2mm mechanical pencil by Caran d'Ache. Long size mechanical pencil (160 mm) with a lead of Ø 2 mm and a sharpener incorporated in the pushbutton.
