This is a superior concentrated ink made by Tom Norton in the United States from imported materials. Having a viscous consistency, it holds well in the brush or hand-dipped pen. It can be thinned with water for a light wash and layered, as each successive overlap produces a darker shade. Areas or lines made directly from the bottle produce dense, almost shiny marks. Its rich warm character is reminiscent of marks seen in drawings by Rembrandt. It is a completely unique ink. Available in two sizes.
