Golden OPEN Acrylic is a unique range of color & additives with
a slower drying time than any other acrylic paint on the market.
OPEN Acrylics resist skinning & remain wet on the palette for extended periods. This is a highly pigmented, artists’ grade paint that has relaxed working characteristics that allow for techniques previously reserved for the oil painter, but with water clean up. The colors are so versatile they can be used like printmaking inks for monoprinting & screenprinting! You can mix them with traditional acrylics & additives, though the open time will be proportionately reduced.
OPEN Acrylics are perfect for wet into wet, plein air painting techniques. Take them outside with you!
