Select from a vast range of images to add realistic (and maybe not-so-realistic) elements to your art.
The Maxon comic screens are offered here with a repositionable, wax adhesive. These film screens are cut into desired shapes with a knife (or Maxon Ceramic Cutter) and used to create dimension, intensity or background art upon line art for comics, but they are also used by illustrators, and graphic, industrial, commercial and architectural designers. They print beautifully.
To use, simply select a comic pattern (it might be a background, such as a cloudy sky, or a texture, such as a fabric or a brick wall). Select the area of your illustration you want to place it and cut it slightly larger than needed. Then trim the edges exactly, remove the backing, place and burnish into place.
PLEASE NOTE: Dust or oil will weaken the adhesiveness. Place these color patterns with the back paper still attached to the plastic sleeve after use. Avoid storing in hot and/or humid areas as this may damage the adhesive and film.
