Oil Painting Restoration with Phil Springstead

Art restorer Phil Springstead will describe the process of restoring & maintaining oil paintings & share interesting stories of what lies just below the surface. A graduate of MCAD & former graphic artist, Phil was trained in restoration work by Gordon Williams, the former head of painting restorations for Harrods. He has been cleaning & restoring paintings for 14 years. His clients range from families who want to preserve grandfathers amateur artwork to art dealers with 16th to 20th century paintings.
The 25th Annual Mpls-St.Paul International Film Festival

The film festival is coming! Wet Paint will again sponsor a film during the Mpls-St. Paul International Film Festival, organized by MN Film Arts.
