Shipping and Ordering Policies
The following are Wet Paint Online Store's Standard Shipping Rates for the 48 contiguous United States. Orders in the contiguous 48 United States of $99 or more qualify for FREE SHIPPING! These rates cover our standard shipping.
*Special shipping requirements (expedited service, carrier of your choice, oversize products, large volume shipments, international, among others) do not qualify for these rates; in these cases the customer is notified via email before the order is processed. Shipping of class kits, large light pads, easels, furniture, canvas and boards in profiles larger than 18x24", and sheet paper are among those items that do not qualify for these rates.

Other Shipping Methods
Kit Delivery - This method is for local, pre-arranged delivery by Wet Paint staff to a specified instructor or classroom. It is not valid for any orders that require shipment by a carrier.
International - Orders shipping to International locations require an individual quote. We will reply via email with shipping options via the postal service.
Barring unusual circumstances, orders are processed Monday-Friday, within 2 business days of receipt. If there are issues with your order, including product availability, we will contact you during processing. Shipping transit times for the 48 contiguous United States generally range from 2-5 business days after processing. Orders are shipped using USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground at our discretion. Please include a full street address, including suite, apt. or unit number. We will accommodate PO Boxes when possible. Please note that our Standard Shipping Fees are value based, regardless of shipper. Shipments to Hawaii, Alaska, and US Territories, including APOs: These are shipped USPS Priority Mail where available.
Solvents & Flammable Products: Due to the required ground shipping of Class 3 items, shipping times may exceed our standard 2-6 day delivery estimate. Expedited shipping is not available for orders containing these items.
Wet Paint is happy to provide service to our international customers, if shipping to that location is possible. You may place your order immediately; however, no shipping estimate will be given online. Once the order is received, Wet Paint staff will contact the customer by e-mail with the best shipping estimate possible. No international order is processed until the shipping & handling cost is approved by the customer. You may also write directly to us at email@example.com with a list of the items you are interested in (add them from the store and copy them to an e-mail, for instance) and a Wet Paint staff person will contact you and give you an estimate. We will adjust the order upon receipt to include the approved shipping costs.
Please note: In some cases, there can be difficulty processing international credit cards online. If you receive a decline message referencing Address Verification, please email the store so that we can more directly assist with the order. firstname.lastname@example.org
Our website payment processor sometimes cannot verify Canadian addresses. If you see an address verification error when ordering, please call the store to order or email us a list of the items you are interested in and we will reply with a shipping quote. Payment will be taken by phone, but we can often prepare the order in advance.
If items are not in stock, the customer will be notified. No additional shipping charges are assessed for backorders, unless the customer wishes to add items to the backorder, in which case standard shipping rates are applied.
Shipping is non-refundable. Shipping errors made by Wet Paint or product damaged in shipping are the responsibility of Wet Paint; in correcting the error, no further shipping charges will be assessed, unless the customer adds product to the original order. If the customer has made the error in ordering, they are responsible for shipping and must return the product in saleable condition to Wet Paint before credit for the product can be issued. In the cases of customer error, Wet Paint can arrange shipping for the customer, but the customer is responsible for payment of the additional shipping.
Coupons Codes and Special Promotions
We do not distribute coupon codes to marketing websites. Valid coupon codes will be distributed directly from us or a partnering organization or artist, specific to a particular promotion. Any coupon codes found online are invalid and likely a phishing scam.
Some promotions, like Buy X Get Y, do not compute during ordering and are handled manually.
Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. These chemicals can be in the products that Californians purchase, in their homes or workplaces, or that are released into the environment. By requiring that this information be provided, Proposition 65 enables Californians to make informed decisions about their exposures to these chemicals. Some common art materials that contain these chemicals are solvents and solvent based products including paints, mediums and adhesives & heavy metal pigments.
